Kindergarteners were studying the work of Georgia O'Keeffe in Mrs. Hawley's art class. Students drew big flowers inspired by her style. Georgia O'Keeffe was quoted as saying, "I decided that if I could paint that flower in a huge scale, you could not ignore its beauty."
