VT Broadband Access Survey
Please help the Department of Public Service improve Internet availability in the Barre area by providing Public Service with information, by home address, where children can’t access the Internet. They will use this information to seek funding and coordinate service providers to bring high speed Internet to areas where it currently isn’t available.  If you’ve already helped out, thank you! Your efforts will help secure additional resources.  For those of you that haven’t yet submitted any information, there are a few options for getting the information to the Department:

  • Staff or student households can complete a brief survey online at Interactive Broadband Map and Survey.
  • Staff or student households can call the Consumer Affairs and Public Information Division (CAPI) at 1-800-622-4496 for assistance with filling out the map and survey. CAPI will also review available options for internet service when families call.

This information is needed by May 31, 2020.  For more information or to discuss the best way to get the information to the Department, please call Carol Flint at (802) 828-4009.

Thunder Road
We understand that a celebration for the Class of 2020 has been planned for the Thunder Road International Speedbowl on Saturday, June 20.  This is NOT a school or district sanctioned event.  This is a private event put together by several parents to celebrate, recognize and applaud graduates as a group. If you have questions regarding this event, please email Lance at snrparentsclassof2020@gmail.com.  The event will take place after Spaulding High School’s virtual graduation at 11 A.M. on Saturday, June 20.

During this crisis we are offering free meals to anyone under age 18.  These meals are offered weekly Monday through Friday until further notice.  For more information, please click here.
